Angle begins her interview with describing her background, education, and memories of World War II. She details her research with Omaha lead levels and poisonings including the ASARCO battery plant, leaded gasoline, relevant legislation, racial demographics of tests and results, and the role of technology in her research. Angle concludes her interview by discussing how she managed her deafness during her career.

Angle begins her interview discussing her accomplishments in lead poisoning research. She describes transitioning to being a member of the faculty in the Department of Pediatrics at UNMC, working with the pediatric intensive care unit, and the role that gender played in her promotion to chair of the department. She details funding at UNMC during this time period including the effects of Medicaid. She describes her shift back to laboratory work, her family’s continued work in healthcare, and her husband’s legacy. She discusses her time as editor of the Journal of Toxicology and her work with arsenic poisoning in Bangladesh. She details philanthropy efforts by UNMC alumni that were made possible by EMDEE Group investments. Angle concludes her interview by reflecting on her retirement, advice she would give to women in medicine, and future work to be done with child safety.
