This interview consists of recorded remarks during a reunion organized by Avis Larsen and Paul Cash. It was held at the Omaha Hilton Hotel meeting of the Central Neuropsychiatric Convention. Seventeen former associates attended, and their remarks were recorded by Bernice Hetzner. The interview begins with an update on the careers and personal lives of the nurses, residents and secretaries that worked together with Bennett and his foundation. It describes working with professionals from Mexico during World War II and summarizes the accomplishments, publications and research done by the group. The interview describes the establishment of the A.E. Bennett Neuro-Psychiatric Foundation in California and the general attitude toward psychiatric nurses, their pay and psychiatric wards. The interview concludes with Hetzner detailing her involvement with collecting archives for UNMC and a biographical sketch of A.E. Bennett.
